In 2023, The City of Centerville prepared a Strategic Plan in order to guide the City over the next five years (2023-2028). That plan included four broad goals focused on the following topics:

Service Delivery and Stewardship
Quality of Life
Development
Workforce

The City’s new comprehensive plan will build upon these four goal areas for a more detailed plan that will shape how Centerville changes over time, as well as how it will preserve and enhance its assets including parks and open space, community facilities, commercial areas, and more. Please answer the questions below to share your thoughts on the future of Centerville. Your responses will be used to begin to develop the comprehensive plan’s goals and objectives. The survey is divided into two parts: Survey Questions and About You.

Strategic Plan Goal 1: Service Delivery and Stewardship

The City of Centerville will deliver exceptional, innovative, and value-driven services to our citizens, businesses, and visitors with a commitment to stewardship.

1. Does the City of Centerville reflect your values in the services it currently provides? Why or why not?

2. Where in Centerville do you walk/bike?

3. Where in Centerville would you like to walk/bike but are currently unable to?

4. Where in Centerville do you have trouble finding a place to park?

Strategic Plan Goal 2: Quality of Life

The City will invest in life-long learning, culture and access to events and recreation consistent with the City’s Vision.

8. Do you have a park (e.g., community garden, dog park, pickleball/basketball court, playground, etc.) located near your neighborhood? If so, do you use it? If not, what kind of space would you most like to see?

Strategic Plan Goal 3: Development

Consistent with our Customer Service Philosophy, the City will engage in proactive planning, development, and reinvestment to promote an appealing, complementary, and accessible environment with vibrant business districts and desirable residential neighborhoods.
